All our Laminated Log buildings are constructed using "laminated logs".This technology provides a major breakthrough in the construction of log buildings offering increased quality,strength and reliability.

The tree trunk is cut lengthwise into boards which are then dried to 8-12% humidity.The boards are then sealed with an envoronmentally friendly adhesive that resists moisture and then bonded together under great pressure prior to machining into the appropriate log profiles.
Laminated Log technology allows for considerably increased dimensional stability and reduced distortion compared with more traditional methods offering design concepts impossible with more traditional methods.
