Laminated/Glued Logs
The tree trunk is cut lengthwise into boards which removes the tree’s ability to keep the trunk together. The cut boards are then dried to 8-12% humidity. The boards are then sealed with environmentally-friendly glue that prevents moisture and stacked in layers under hydraulic pressure.

Laminated logs are produced using modern industrial techniques using automated dryers and hydraulic presses. This ensures greater accuracy in the joints thus giving easier construction. Settlement after construction is dramatically reduced thus the house can be completely finished immediately.

Laminated log houses are high technology products that improve on all the positive qualities that wood houses offer: strength, reliability, solid construction, sound and heat insulation. Houses constructed of glued logs don’t require additional trim/finishes, that can cost as much as the logs.

Glued logs can also be used to construct multi-level dwellings, that are destined to stand for a few hundred years. The beams, rafters, window and door frames are also constructed of glued wood.
